Well, it's Matsujun's Birthday today- happy birthday Matsujun! 24 years and counting! ^_^ I don't know that I"m going to do much- I'll prolly light some Incense or a candle or beg My housemate to buy a cupcake or something. . . If I had some Seaweed, I'd prolly make some Onigiri with a chocolate center, as I DO have some chocolate sauce in the fridge. mmm. . . I think I might have to make some rice pudding with chocolate. mmm. . .  okay, enough random!!! ^_^

later on, I might post some stuff from the past couple of weeks that I kept meaning to also post here but forgot. I also found some more pics from the sweet shop in NYC and the Kinokuniya's next to it- hee hee, my little sister wearing a Gothic Lolita bonnet! ^_^

Also, my copy of Time (Japanese regular edition) finally came in!!! I have some pictures of that, also. And I got my Japanese language program from my housemate. My birthday was August second, yet Time was my birthday present for myself and the Language program was the Housemate's birthday gift to me. yay!

Additionally, the friend that I'm learning Japanese with has ordered our textbooks, so they should be in next week. Yay!!! He also should be getting an LJ soon. He's not sure about having soooo many different sites registered on, so I'm not 100% sure if he'll end up with a  vox account. In my heart of hearts, Vox is prolly a better fit as fandom over here is more likely to use kana like he wants to, while LJ fandom is more Romanji based. Maybe I'm just a bad person. oh well!!! ^_^

AS a result, he has been tire-tracked. Akiha finds this Hilarious.

An-An!!! It seems that the magazine An-An is having a Hot-Guys-On-the-Street edition, and Akiha can pick 4 guys to photograph. The entire school, of course, wants a part of this.

So, of course, to prove his worthiness, Tennouji rips his shirt off. Or rather, has two other men rip his shirt off. To no Avail- Akiha has already picked her models out of the students!

NANBA! who celebrates by getting groped by his fellow dorm heads, it seems.

Nakatsu! Who celebrates by speaking Engrish.

Sano, the stoic who hides from the spot light behind a magazine that he was reading instead of getting involved in this fiasco.

and Mizuki, oblivious to the consequences as usual, Celebrating by joking around with her "Best Friend" (and continues to be oblivious to his "need" for her)

Sano thinks Mizuki being in this is a bad Idea, as he knows Mizuki isn't really a guy. Mizuki, as usual, has this enlightening thing to say: "Oh, I think it will make me look Handsome!!!"

Sano: . . .

You might have to go Nude. . .

Mizuki: o_0 Wha-?

And so Sano, to protect Mizuki, decides to participate even though he hates the idea.

Sano goes to get Mizuki the day of the photoshoot.

. . . Only to spot nekkid Mizuki stomach (Which looks really really feminine.) and be thrown completely off guard and act like Nakatsu- complete with tropical music.

Nakatsu enters, and recognizes Sano's pose as one of his own.

Sano: I'm, just, uh, about to get him up!

In a very Nakatsu-caught-in-the-act pose. uh-huh.

VP announces that they will all have to give personal interviews. Naturally, Dorm two's response is to do Kayashima's spook hands.

The photo shoot set has nekkid dummies in primary colors. . .?

Nakatsu and Mizuki find Romeo and Juliet costumes. So of course they start to (badly) act out a scene.

Mizuki: Oh Romeo, why are you Romeo!

Nakatsu: Juliet!

And as Nakatsu was getting too close, Jealous!Sano forcibly pushes him away.

Sano: Juliet is a WOMAN, Mizuki.

and grabs Mizuki's arm and drags her off.

Nakatsu yells Juliet a couple times while Mizuki is being drug off.

Until Nanba thwacks him upside the head.

Nanba: Calm down Romeo.

IN the inner dressing room there are more clothes. Nakatsu Picks out a frilly pink shirt for Mizuki, who thinks it's "Kawaii~!"

Sano: No, wear this, that shirt is too girl-y.

So Nakatsu and Sano bicker about what Mizuki will wear.

Apparently Sano wins, as here is Misuki looking cute as a button in the black shirt.

Akiha tells Mizuki to think of the one she likes.

. . . So she stares at the back of the room with an adoring look. . .

. . . At Sano, who thinks that the blue nekkid dummy is hilarious, apparently.

Nakatsu is once again mistaken and thinks HE'S the one being stared at.

Sano watching adoringly as Mizuki does her shoot. . .

Then Nakatsu pleads with Akiha and gets in on the shoot

. . . at which Sano looses his adoring look and instead looks unusually uneasy.

Sano's turn! He obviously hates this, but that's what Akiha wants.

Akiha: MORE GLARE!!! *CLICK CLICK*

Sano: *GO DIE GLARE*

Mizuki is enthralled. Nakatsu is heart broken.

Back at the school, the drama dorm, after spying on a telephone call between the VP and the Director of the school, Makes a report- They are culling out the bad! OH no!

So, like teen aged boys everywhere, they jump to conclusions- Obviously, the school is running out of money and will have to close! at which point everyone acts over-dramatic.

Nakatsu confronts Sano on the way back from the photo shoot about Mizuki.

Nakatsu: Do you have a readiness to accept men?

Nakatsu: . . . Let me tell you before hand, I already have a readiness to accept men! *fist pump*

Sano: . . .

*Walks away, obviously thinking that Nakatsu is soooo baka. . .*

Sano: *Jealous and overprotective* Put your clothes back on! You need to be aware of your surroundings!

Mizuki: 0_o Sano, you have been acting weird lately. Like. . . a FATHER. *skips off merrily*

Sano, of course, is completely freaked out by Mizuki referring to him as father. You know, seeing as how he's lusting after her.

Akiha, of course, has to torture Umeda with her photo spread. and Umeda has to disinfect his hands.

After a hard day of fund raising, Nanba looks at his photos.

His dorm mates accuse him of wanting to model if the school shuts down.

"Who, me? *bats eye lashes*

While Nakatsu and Mizuki are fund raising, Sano's Rival/makeout guy from last episode, Kagurazaka, comes along to ask after Sano.

Nakatsu proceeds to be an ass.

Then he says something along the lines of "The school is shutting down! if you are such a nice guy, you should give us money! Cause if not, then they might relocate Sano to the Madagascar campus or something. And you'll never beat him."

or make out with him again. we know why you are here.

. . . to which the sexually confused Kagurazaka EMPTIES HIS WALLET into the donation box. I'm told that the money is equivalent to $20 USD.

Nakatsu continues to be an ass, asks for more money, then pretends to get down to polish Kagurazaka's shoes. Hitting him in the head with his banner on the way down.

I would Have smacked Nakatsu. Which leads me to believe that Kagurazaka is a fucking SAINT.

Suddenly, girls SWARM Mizuki with copies of An-An to get Autographs. Fangirling. Completely unaware that Mizuki is a girl.

Mizuki basks in it. 0_0

Kagurazaka: Er, What is going on?

Nakatsu: oh, we were in a photo shoot for An-An. Mizuki, and me, oh and Sano was in it too! . . .

Kagurazaka: *sexual Identity crisis mode* Sano. . . Model?

I. . . am really starting to like Shirota Yuu, and I'm happy he's getting longer screen time.

The Hibari five have decided to try to buy out as many copies of An-An in Tokyo as possible, in order to prevent more girls from falling for Sano's beautiful face.

Kagurazaka. . . actually went out and bought a copy of An-An. and Is THROUGHLY ENGROSSED IN IT. 0_o

Habari decides to attempt using her Feminine Wiles on him in order to get the magazine. Unfortunately for her, Kagurazaka has just decided he is gay, and is instead weirded out.

Kagurazaka: erm, 0_o

Habari: *groping his leg* this. . . how much are you willing to give it up? *Note: this is the actual wording. 0_0

Kagurazaka: huh? o_o

Here we have a blue ray of death.

okay, not really.

Mizuki says something which Nakatsu says stinks.

Insert sentimental rambling here. Then Mizuki says it all prolly stinks.

Nakatsu: It doesn't stink at all.

Nanba's mother is a friend and Confidante of Mizuki, and gives a motherly speech.

. . . While rather Sapphically holding Mizuki's face.

I think I now kinda ship Nanba's mum/Mizuki. 0_0

I've decided that Mizuki looks like my Grandmother. The Lesbian one. Which makes some of these scenes infinitely more amusing.

After the previously mentioned sapphic face holding, Mizuki looks strangely satisfied. all she needs is a cigarette

Nakatsu confronts Sano about his distancing from the rest of the school.

Nakatsu: Is this school to you only so that you can High Jump?

Sano:. . . And if that's the case?

Nakatsu: If so. . . it is Unforgivable.

*Glaring contest*

Nakatsu: Stop thinking you can survive on your own.

and in the middle of a death glare contest, Mizuki walks in. . .

. . .And is promptly confused as Nakatsu walks out and Sano locks himself in the bathroom.

That night, Mizuki is emo and stoned . . .

. . . While Sano creepily watches her while she's not looking.

Everyone gets drug into the dining hall . . .

. . . Because Mizuki has a great Idea!

Mizuki: Let's all take photos together!

At first, the various dorms objected, but eventually Mizuki convinces everyone. There is then much fist pumping.

Nakatsu obviously thinks that Mizuki's efforts are adorable. . .

. . . Until she runs off to retrieve Sano, the only guy in school not there. Poor Nakatsu!

Sano is being stubborn, so naturally Mizuki does SQUEEZY FACE on him.

"PEACH! If you want my Ass you can have it!"

Akiha: Stop it! What are you SAYING???

He still has no Idea that Mizuki is a girl. . .

. . . But Sano knows, and goes all Angsty face over it.

. . . While gazing at Mizuki.

The next episode looks. . . a little plotty! as in new teacher vs. students? Trouble for Nakatsu? I don't know, as I don't speak japanese. any speakers venture a guess?  A friend  explained that Nakatsu get in trouble because the teacher thinks he was cheating or something like that.

I really like Shirota Yuu getting more screen time this Episode. I'm tempted to start fan girl-ing him as well you should give me links to more of his stuff. Toma, of course, still has my heart, and the variety of emotion in this episode = WIN though I miss the nodding smile. Shun. . . Well, I like the way his role is going now. I might be able to ship Mizuki/Sano at the end of the series without toooo much struggle. . .

Right now, I'm in the midst of screen capping Hana Kimi episode 8, seeing as how the subs have come out. I suck s bad at capping. So, to take a break from the suckage, I'm updating this.

My birthday was August 2nd, but I was at Pennsic War for two weeks. So my housemate didn't get me my birthday gift until now. He's getting me Instant Immersion Japanese Delux 2.0, a Japanese language Program. ^_^ He ordered it via E-bay though, tres cheap- item was like. . . $17 + SHipping, whereas Amazon's is $30. ^_^  IT looks like it will be fun- normally, I put on music (Yuzu or Coheed and Cambria, usually) for sleepytime. Instead, I'll put on the CDs! IT will be fun and yay for learning! The reviews on Amazon don't worry me too much. they've basically said to have other resources, and to explore Skype and Listen to. . . J-music. I think that Listening to Arashi, watching doramas and variety shows, and also having a text book count, ne?

Additionally, my friend Ken (Who, BTW, ADORES MatsuJun) and I are planning a Japanese Language study group. HIs College doesn't offer Japanese (Instead he's majoring French- if he transfers and majors Japanese, he'll teach English in Japan, if not then English in France) but he really wants to learn Japanese by the time he reaches 23 years old. Uber Gravitation fans might understand why. ^_^ And Since I'm putting off school (financial reasons) It would be a good choice to engage my brain in some lessons, ne? Besides, I'd like to get into Subbing, and being able to translate is a good part.

ANYHOW, Ken is ordering and paying for both of our Text Books for this: Contemporary Japanese Vol. 1 An actual college text. ^_^ The plan is to study online together, have meetings a couple times a month in person, Write Letters in Hiragana and Romanji, And watch as much Japanese language TV sans subs as possible. We'd like to work up to watching Doramas sans subs eventually!

As we are poor, college aged students, Any other less expensive resources would be much appreciated!!!!

As it stands, we shall be making our own flash cards for Hiragana and Kanji. yay~!

I know, I know, I was going to post about the Ohmiya stuff. but. BUT.

I just finished watching YTM ep 6. EEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!

Surely some of the rest of you couldn't stop giggling when the director woman said someday she'd be a director in Hollywood and have Taro be a solider in a war film? You know, seeing as how Nino (who plays Yamada Taro) played Saigo in letters from Iwo Jima? *rolls about merrily* very cute!

Also beyond amusement- HAMBURGER! *headdesk* That's Taro for you, always about the food- oh, wait isn't food-love a trait shared in Arashi as well? ^_^

speaking of which, have you seen the preview for the new PV, Happiness?

In other news. . . I ordered my copy of Arashi's Time! Finally! That is my birthday present to myself. ^__^ I when though the Arashi Fan Video project link to YesAsia, and got the Japan version. I think that since it's through the Japanese version that it counts on the charts there, were as the over seas (aka, not japanese, pressed in Hong Kong) version doesn't? 0_o wah, international business is a little complex for me, and adding in the music industry. . . o_0

IN any case, Ken is ordering the books so that we can study Japanese together soon! yay! after we've got the basics down, perhaps we shall get to watch some drama un-subbed and sing along to some j-pop songs? like, I dunno. . . ARASHI songs? yay!

Which reminds me, I need to get to gold star soon to get some pocky. . . mmm. . . pocky. I wonder if they have the five fruit ones? I really liked that flavor. hmmm. . .

I rather want to write X!Love posts. Like, Arashi or Hana Kimi or TOMA. . . but. . . 0_0 maybe later?

I'm checking out Kanjani 8 at the moment. they are. . . interesting. And by extension, I'm looking at News. Shut up. I have no life. Additionally, should you have other random j-pop to tempt me with. . . ^_^ yay?

pimped a group called YuZu recently, and they seem to have some pretty good music. hm. Not sure If I'd fan girl them or anything, but I'd definitely listen. Who doesn't like boys with acoustic guitars? I know I do. ^__^

Drama wise, I'm having issues downloading recent episodes of Yamada Taro. ; _ ; I've downloaded a couple times, but it was being wonky, so I'd download it from a DIFFERENT SERVER, and. . . yuck. DIVSHARE TAKES TOO LONG. as does bittorrent, as I am trying to torrent katagoshi no koibito at the moment and 3 FUCKING DAYS is a little absurd, no? and frighteningly enough, it would take at least that long even without Kevin turning off torrent when hes using the compy. WOE.

AS for Hana Kimi. . . TOMA TOMA TOMA. *nosebleed* Hana Kimi 7 was better story/plot wise, though, for those that wish there was more plot to it. *shrugs*
